Design an Eco Task lamp for the Anglepoise Play Brand
This was a project done by Bournemouth University Students.
This was the first year winning group:
Bournmouth University — Solution 01
“We are creatures of habit and routine. One thing we have noticed for example is that people markate a change from work to an evening relaxing at home with their Anglepoise lamp by either turning it off or turning the shade up to flush light up the wall… moving their product from a task to an ambient light source”
There was something quite tactile about this product in its folded shape, and quite magical how it can metamorphosize into a bigger lamp that has a task component. This is achieved by the clever way it folds around itself to make it far more compact than expected.
Students: Trevor Brinkman, Ben Richards, Clare Schofield, Will Reynolds, Thomas Kelly-Lord, John Morgan, Andrew Mongi, Lee Peters.
