The designer, Kenneth Grange was so impressed by our original task light that we commissioned him to create a number of new and exciting designs. In fact, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the original Anglepoise, we have released a range of lamps designed in the original style, but using modern technology to create a light that combines old-school chic with contemporary production values.

The Anglepoise task light has grown from an engineering concept to an internationally recognised brand over the space of 150 years. During that time, the company has maintained its family-run feel, with the Managing Director being a direct descendant of the original creator.
