One of the world’s most iconic objects, the Anglepoise lamp, is now available in a reduced size.
Anglepoise has been working closely with their internationally renowned Design Director, Kenneth Grange, CBE, to create this new, smaller scale lamp.
Two versions are available. The first version is fitted with the new Anglepoise LED LM2 module. This revolutionary high light output module features touch sensitive dimming, light level memory and is a highly energy-efficient light source. The second version takes an E14 small Edison screw bulb.
The name Anglepoise has, for over 70 years, been widely recognised as being synonymous with high quality, practical lamps. This tradition continues with the Type75™ Mini which is available in a fun range of seven exciting and vibrant colours. With a heavy base, stainless steel fittings and a mechanism that responds to the lightest touch, this small lamp has perfect balance and flowing movement. It is a joy to use, with all the functionality of larger models in the range.
The safety of 12 volts and low operating temperature provided by the LED version, along with its compact size, make this lamp particularly suitable for children, or indeed anywhere where space is at a premium.
Simon Terry, Innovation Director of Anglepoise Ltd said: “The new Type75™Mini is just one of a range of exciting new products which we will be launching over the next 18 months. During the development of this lamp Kenneth Grange, our design director, was keen that we achieved a design which contained all the recognisable Anglepoise values, yet was in a scale and range of colours which were suited to modern living.”
