For anyone who was unable to join us in Milan when we exhibited our collections of new and classic Anglepoise® designs at Euroluce earlier this month, we are delighted to offer a pictorial tour of our stand, presented this year with a little help from our friends at uber-stylish travel and lifestyle magazine, Cereal. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
Here is our elegant meeting room space, backlit by a series of Type 75 Wall Lights. The Circular table is by Arne Jacobsen. the smart Søborg Chairs by Børge Mogensen:
Cereal stylist Nathalie Schwer recreated the beautiful Cereal Volume 9 front cover image by photographer Anders Schønnemann. On the desk is an Original 1227™ Brass Desk Lamp, part of a new 5-piece Original 1227™ Brass Collection that reinterprets our most iconic lamp design with brass fittings in place of traditional chrome. The Greta Grossman "62 series" desk is a 1950s Gubi reissue and the J64 chair is by Ejvind A. Johansson:
This display incorporates three of our Pendant Collections. The bright chrome lamps are Duo™ and Duo™ Maxi Pendants, the pendants with brass shade caps are from the Original 1227™ Brass Collection and the lamp in the foreground Is a Giant 1227™ Pendant . The postcards displayed on a Guéridon Bas coffee table by Jean Prouve feature more of the stunning images that inspired the presentation on our stand, created by photographer Anders Schønnemann for Cereal Volume 9:
These displays feature the Type 75™ Maxi Pendant, and Type 75™ Desk Lamp. The new Type 75 Maxi Collection, which comprises a Floor Lamp as well as the Pendant shown here is the latest addition to this best-selling Type 75™ Collection and is now available to buy online on our website. The metal trolley is by Mathieu Matégot, another mid-century Gubi reissue.
This display shows a series of Type 1228™ Wall Lights. When lit from within the attractive bowl shaped shade appears luminescent; you can rotate to focus light just where it’s needed, or tilt it away to create a warm, ambient glow. The wooden chairs (top image and just seen here) are Ax stools by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen:
Of course, no Anglepoise® stand would be complete without the Type 75™ Desk Lamp - Paul Smith Edition, shown here on an smart Esu shelf unit by Eames:
