A modern, timber-framed barn with views of the Surrey hills
The National Trust welcomes guests to its hand picked holiday homes, which are dotted across the UK. Whether you’re hoping for an active trip in the countryside or want to snuggle up by an open fire, these unique rentals offer accommodation in beautiful spots that are cared for by the National Trust.
These two holiday cottages each sleep six guests and even welcome furry canine friends. They’re beautifully decorated with traditional flint walls and slate roof but inside they are also desgned for contemporary living, with a sprinkle of heritage accessories.
The interiors have been decorated to maintain a bright and airy feel with natural tones, soft fabrics and plenty of lighting for the dark winter months. Both the Sage Green and Buttermilk Yellow Anglepoise + National Trust collections are scattered throughout the cottages, which add our functional and timeless design into the mix. The Original 1227 Mini Table Lamps, Desk Lamps and Floor Lamps are not only Guaranteed For Life, but also provide funds to support the restoration of The Homewood, a house cared for by the National Trust.
The National Trust has ensured these holiday homes were built with the neighboring landscape and the environment in mind. The internal oak detailing is from the estate and the exteriors are decorated in locally sourced red cedar wood.
