Floor Lamps

An Anglepoise floor lamp brings the same precision and control as our original task lamp, scaled up for the spaces beyond a desk. These floor standing lamps designed to be adjustable, balanced, and built to stay exactly where you set them.

Place one beside a sofa and you have a reading lamp that angles light right where you need it. Stand one in a corner and it turns dead space into a warm pool of illumination. In a home office, a floor lamp keeps your desk surface clear while still giving you focused, directional task lighting. They suit a studio, a bedroom, or a living room just as easily. Wherever you need to direct light, a floor lamp gives you that control.

Some of our floor lamps are compact and precise. Others are oversized and sculptural, designed to hold their own in larger rooms and open plan spaces. The range covers different styles and silhouettes, but they all share the same engineering. Constant spring tension, smooth articulation, and a shade designed to focus the beam rather than scatter it.

Choosing the right floor lamp comes down to where it will live and what you need it to do. Think about the height of your seating, the space available, and whether you want focused task lamp floor lighting for reading or a softer ambient glow to fill a corner. Finishes range from classic chrome and satin to bolder colour options, so there’s room to match your floor lamp to your interior.

Anglepoise floor standing lamps are made to last. We’ve been refining how a lamp balances, moves, and directs light for over ninety years. Every floor lamp we make carries that thinking. And because we believe no product should be designed for landfill, each one is guaranteed for life once registered.
