When a ground floor space on Hayling Island came on the market, expanding digital creative agency Superrb Studio seized the opportunity to relocate and stamp their identity on a space of their own.
Intent on creating a light, modern, coastal ambience with a semi industrial feel to reflect their brand and seaside location, hardy materials such as concrete, wood flooring, cedar cladding, worn brick and galvanized pipework were selected. Long bench desks were installed to facilitate face to face collaboration between design and development teams, combined with Herman Miller Mirra 2 task chairs at each workspace.
Having worked closely with Anglepoise on website development, using Anglepoise lights in the space was a natural choice. Type 75™ Maxi pendants were installed to focus light onto desks, their clean, simple lines and graphite grey colour complementing the largely neutral colour palette. Another Type 75 Maxi pendant, this time in Alpine White, was installed in the meeting room.
The addition of four Type 1228™ Metallic wall lights in silver lustre was the perfect finishing touch, their industrial aesthetic blending seamlessly with the galvanised conduit.
