Our debut at 3daysofdesign 2026

This June, we made our debut at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen with an installation that celebrated the values that have shaped us for more than 90 years: heritage, continuity and stewardship.

Hosted at Galerie Maria Friis, the exhibition brought together stories from our past alongside new product launches, creating an opportunity to reflect on enduring design, repair and responsible ownership with visitors from around the world.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the preview of the Original 315 Desk Lamp – Navigation Edition. Inspired by a remarkable chapter in our history, the original lamp was developed for use in aircraft, illuminating navigators’ chart tables during flight. Re-engineered for contemporary life, this new edition demonstrates how purposeful design can continue to evolve while remaining true to its origins. Originally passed from father to son, it has been restored and cared for over the decades, continuing a journey of maintenance that spans generations. Rather than offering it for sale, we invited visitors to consider why they should be entrusted with its next chapter. We weren’t looking for a new owner, but for its next custodian. 500th rewire and type writer 3 days of design

Alongside these stories of longevity and stewardship, we introduced new additions to our current collection. Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, the new Type 80 T1 Table Lamp is a pared-back interpretation of the Type 80 family. Available with either the classic metal shade or a softly diffused opal glass shade, it offers a warmer, more atmospheric light. The launch also introduced Pale Putty, a warm chestnut brown, joining Matte Black and Grey Mist within the range.

In another nod to our heritage, we unveiled a new colourway for the Original 1227 Desk Lamp. Featuring a blue shade and base paired with matte black components and arm set, the design takes inspiration from some of the earliest Anglepoise lamps produced in the 1930s, bringing a piece of our history into the present day. Over three days, we welcomed visitors from across the design industry and beyond, sharing stories, products and ideas while contributing to conversations around longevity, repairability and the value of products designed to last for generations.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Galerie Maria Friis and helped make our first appearance at 3daysofdesign such a memorable experience. We left Copenhagen inspired by the conversations we had and encouraged by the growing interest in design that values longevity, care and stewardship.
